A sure sign of maturity is knowing that you can do something but not doing it because you understand the risks. I have many friends that do stupid things knowing what the risks are but not understanding them. I am sick of people that make choices that effect everyone that cares of them in a negative manner but they chose to do it because "it's my life." Don't you know that I love you? I care for you? People in general may not show their affection very well but that's because we all take tomorrow for granted. How would you treat your Grandmother if you knew that today was the last day you would ever see her before she died. It is impossible to know when that day will come and we cannot live in the fear of that happening but we should still be aware of the possibility. As I was saying though, if you do not care about yourself enough to make good choices, make them for the people that care about you. After all, would you say something if I was doing something stupid that could possibly endanger my life? Please be smart, think about others because others think about you. If I take the time out of my life to care about you, to talk to you, to be there for you, the least I can ask of you is that you take the time out of your day to make sure that you're alive. I want to be able to sit in a rocking chair at the age of 80 texting you about the good 'ol days. Please be safe, if not for you, do it for the people that care about you.
